The Next Step
I tend to take some flacc from my friend and my girlfriend for some of my writing choices, mainly my focus on stories set in highschool or roadtrips and I think I understand why I tend to use these themes. I look back on my highschool days with a kind of vague recollection of being happy, spending a lot of time with my friends...mainly Jonah and David, and just relaxing for most of the time, as in highschool i wasn't an A student but I finally had a grasp on the whole study thing and was doing much better on my work then ever and rarely missed days. The roadtrip thing probably comes from the constant urge I have of moving forward, while I never take action in real life, in my stories I am allowed to move on, do things I never did and such. I know I write in here alot abotu what I am working on, but right now I am honestly working on non-writing stuff. I have been spending a lot of time doing soul searching, self reflecting type thinking and I have realized that there are thigns I really enjoy about my life, when at some points inmy life I was on the edge of breakdowns I feel now relaxed and at ease most fo the time. I have been doing a little writing for a movie script, it is called 4 A.m. and while Jonah tells me it is stupid, I do not trust his ideas, he hates everything. I think after that I am goign to finally start working on a tv series script, plot out like a whole season of a show, and once I have a portfolio I feel is well rounded I may try and take it to the next step, which is a agent. I have been thinking about that a lot, I have ideas everyday for things and need to start writing more, I really want to have something published by my 25th birthday which is a year away. Dec. 22nd was my 24th birthday. Merry X-Mas or whatever you celebrate. Night
