Final Horizons in rewrite hell part 2
I can't write. I have been trying in vain for the last three hours to write Final Horizons, write the story that I know so well, but can't seem to convey on paper.
I know how the story starts with David killing himself, but the dialogue just sounds so dead to me in this scene that I can't move past it, the next scene is Adam and Alex getting ready to go to the club, but I can't even try to write that as I don't think i like that as the next scene, sure I could change it, but to what???
I am tired of the book starting with David, as I have grown to hate his character more and more as I write him, and he is only on the first two or three pages, how sick and wrong is that???
I thought about starting the bookw ith Adam, which may be the way I end up going, but I don't know what to start it with.
I can't seem to get what Iw ant out of my head and onto the paper and it is driving me crazy.
I know where the story goes and everything and that the main theme of the book is love and friendship, but I feel like I have turned this whole project into something to big for me to handle anymore. ARRGGG.
I started to work on Fourswuare once my head decided I coudl not write Final Horizons but found that the story I had for that was crap, a bully forces the main character to play him in foursquare and the bully's gothic girlfriend is trying to help the main character win, LAME!!!!!!!
I need to take Final Horizons back to it's roots, forget everything that has happened with it and just tell the story, forget Alex, Allison, Vincent, Edward, and all the other characters that took the story away from Adam and Jersey.
This is their story, not even Ethan, Paul, and Jason matter as much as those two do.
I need to eat something and come at this again from a different angle...wish me luck.
